9 months agoWe had a wonderful day. I took my 4 year old niece and she enjoyed every second. There's 2 slides into the kiddie pool and my niece was even able to go down some of the larger slides with me. The new owners have renovated and are continuing to improve the facility. We'll definitely be back. All of the staff were attentive and very friendly.

a year agoPrices are OK for a small family of 2-4 people. You spend more time waiting in line than on the slides, but they are close, so you can go to another slide that has fewer people until the line gets smaller. Good for kids 3 (walking)-17. Go Karts are fun, $7 per person for 12 laps, not bad. Food is OK and reasonably priced. A few more canapés for the tables would be amazing just for more options. Lifeguards are very polite and helpful. Walkways are hot hot so don't forget some water shoes for the kids! Water is clear, and the lazy river is a decent size. I'm pretty sure it's $24 for the water slides, $27 for the water slides, and unlimited putt putt. Also, it might be a deal that includes the zip line, and a game of laser tag OR Go Karts. Not sure of that price. Kids had a great time though on a warm day! 👍👍👍

2 years agoThis past Wednesday was the first time I have been to Thunder Island in about 18 years. I love the size of the park, the location of the park, and all the things the kids can do here. The park offers mainly water attractions, however they have mini golf, bumper cars, an inside small gift/candy shoppe, and some sort of zip line ride which was very fun. The kiddie pool water slides were AWESOME! And the pool area for them is great. The only real downfalls for me were the Bees, and the concrete ground which is TERRIBLE on the feet. My feet were so raw and tender from walking barefoot. I will have to bring water shoes the next time I come. Although I liked the lazy river, I wish it was larger. We had a few traffic jams on Wednesday. 🤣

2 years agoWe wanted to bring the kids somewhere fun and not drive a couple hours and we had heard this place is under new management now so we thought we’d give it a try. Well, we were pleasantly surprised. There are several large water slides and lazy river to enjoy and our 3 year old had a blast on the little kids water slides and splash pool. The go karts we’re pretty awesome, especially for the price and the giant zip line is unique and exciting. There were little to no lines anywhere! Though our family didn’t do it, the other families seemed to enjoy the miniature golf course that is also included with admission. The concession stand was good, but they also offer the option to bring in your own food and drinks, which was well-appreciated. I hadn’t been here in some years and I could quickly see many improvements and upgrades. You can tell the new management is working hard to enhance the experience at this place. We all had a great day without breaking the bank and it’s just down the road from B-villle. If you’re looking for a large busy amusement park then you should drive down the thruway because this isn’t that type of place. If you’re looking for some water park fun and go-karts, without the crowds and extras to spend money on, then Thunder Island is the place.

9 months agoGreat place for all ages. Small enough to walk around with the littles and perfect size for the older kids to enjoy some freedom going off on their own. Ice cream and slushies were available for a treat before we left.
