a week agoI love Tiger World. It is very fun and has peacocks walking around. I used to come and see luna when I went, but sadly, she died last summer due to liver failure. The gift shop is nice they have a ty beanie boo section. In Lunas' place, they have another wolf. It is a timber wolf. I really enjoy seeing the white ligers and the lynxes. It is a very fun place to go with many good restaurants nearby. My favorite exhibit has always been the wolf enclosure. Rest in peace Luna. (She was a good friend of mine. I got to feed her once. She was a great arctic wolf who lived to be 15.) I hope you have a good time if you go there. (Also if you watch the video of the liger, make sure to ignore my brother talking about napoleon dynamite)

3 weeks agoCaring staff and informative signs, including animal names for each pen. Good viewing opportunities and closer proximity compared to other zoos. Impressive variety of creatures made enjoyable with Easter egg hunt, playground, and miniature golf with my kids. Extra Nacho the Sloth encounter was the highlight!

2 weeks agoThis was a one of a kind first time adventure here at Tigers world! They have so many different types of animals here, including rare and unique sightings never seen before. The prices are very well rounded and most certainly worth it. Tickets here are cheaper than any other zoo I've been to, and the additional ticket prices for such as feeding the lions/tigers or going in a cage with an animal from the racoon family breed are pretty fairly ranged and worth a try for extra experience. The size of the park is fairly big but also a bit smaller than expected, although they fit everything so perfectly in here, and it feels like you get to see tons of cool stuff going on! The workers are all very fast on their feet and are always up to answer questions for people and talk about the animals to newcomers visiting. They have lots of cool animal knowledge to go on for days! I got to experience close encounters with all the animals and especially the big and medium tortoise that walked around in their little middle section. I got to pet its shell. I even got to hold a frog we found around the area hopping around. 😊 Most animals were knocked out alseep or hiding under the shade on the day we came as it was hot outside, so I'd recommend coming on a cooler day and definitely before they are fed so that they are awake in view interacting with the viewers more. There are tons of wild turkeys and peacocks of all sizes that fly around freely at their will and constantly make loud funny noises. They were super beautiful, especially the white one, and they will most definitely fly at you if they feel like it, so keep your range unless they are just passing by saying hello to you on the pathway. 🤣 They have a cute little gift shop when you come in where you also buy the tickets to get in at. Everything is fairly priced, especially the drinks. They also have nice AC running on hot days if you want to just hang out in there for a bit to relax before going back out to explore more. I love how they even have a huge cage at the entrance full of parakeets that are just minding their own business looking very peaceful. ❤️ I'd definitely come again! And the atmosphere feels strange being said, it's a hit and miss spot that you don't know about unless told or invited over but, once you experience this place you feel at home, and like you've gained a once in a lifetime experience, never seen before.

a week agoTook my family to Tiger world. We did not know about it until recently. We decided to try it out and are glad we did. There was more than we expected to see. Of course, numerous tigers to see. We were able to see several lions as well. Well worth a trip. We will probably go back sometime and try some of the different add on options that were not available since we went during the winter time frame.

2 months agoThis was one of the most amazing experiences. An incredible gift to create a home for wild animals. The lions roared as we pulled up at 9:30. There are lots of tigers, lions, monkeys, kangaroos, panthers, cougars and more. We saw a peacock spread its feathers. I’ll be donating to ensure this sanctuary remains open!
