Times Beach Nature Preserve

It is only partly closed because of a Lake Erie Seiche several years ago.

This location is cool, but most of it is currently closed due to damage, which looks like ice damage. Given that it is now July, that just seems problematic. When all was open, the trail and boardwalk were great for birdwatching in various environments.

Great day at Times Beach Nature Preserve. Trail was "closed" but one could easily walk around the blockade. There was lots of drift wood on the trail, making it difficult to traverse at times, but we managed. We made it to the "boardwalk", which was definately in disrepair.

Cities too lazy to clean it up and open it up after a storm from years ago kind of sad

The place is a mess. Downed tree's everywhere. The trail is barely passable.
