a year agoWon’t be going back, today was my son first time going to play basketball and I’m so upset. My son is a very shy kid and did not want to play.. At times he wanted to get up and get shy all over again. It also didn’t help Coach Leah not once acknowledged my son in the bench. She went to the other side of the bench where there was already a group of kids sitting and took them to the court, counted she only had 9 kids and started practice, not once did she look on the bench to see if there was another kid, didn’t even look at us even though I was telling my son to get up and play she not once at least asked what was his name. I was not expecting her to stop the practice and just focus on my son but I expected a little bit of enthusiasm to see if he maybe wanted to go and play or to just acknowledge us. And I just want to say I never ever felt the way I felt today and I don’t want to make it seem as a racism thing but at the moment that’s exactly how it felt.

6 years agoLove the place. Just wish bathrooms were open when ladies are playing hockey.....yeah...that. otherwise my husband and son came to watch me play and when the little one got antsy they went over to the park and then ran around the field. Great place! Highly recommend! Just know you'll have to visit mother nature sometimes due to lack of bathroom.
