💡Pro Tips from Reviews
- →**Plan your visit for a Saturday or Sunday if seeing the miniature trains in operation is a priority.** Weekdays will only offer the static displays.
- →Even if you visit on a weekday when trains are not running, allocate time to appreciate the 'intricate buildings' and 'cute scenes' of the miniature replicas.
- →Take advantage of the knowledgeable staff; engage them with questions about the train project and photos to enrich your visit.
- →Combine your visit with time in the surrounding Botanical Garden or City Park for a full relaxing experience, as mentioned by reviewers.
- →Consider this a destination for detailed observation and quiet enjoyment, rather than high-energy play.
Things to Consider
- ⚠The miniature trains are only in operation on Saturdays and Sundays. Visiting on a weekday means the trains will not be running, though the static display is still available.
- ⚠The business name 'New Year's Eve Kids Activities' is misleading as the reviews suggest it's a general attraction with specific operating hours, not limited to New Year's Eve.
Price & Value
Explicit pricing is not mentioned in the reviews, but it is described as 'absolutely worth the trip', indicating good perceived value for the experience offered, especially given the effort evident in the miniature constructions.
♿Accessibility & Special Needs
- •No specific accessibility features beyond what would be expected in a botanical garden setting are mentioned in the reviews. Assume standard pathways suitable for strollers, but no special needs accommodations are highlighted.
🍎Food & Drink Policy
- •No information regarding food or drink policies is provided in the reviews.
🚗Parking Info
- •Not explicitly detailed in reviews, but being within the Botanical Garden/City Park suggests general park parking is available. Specifics on ease, cost, or number of spots are not mentioned.
👥Crowd Levels
- •Described as 'relaxing' and offering 'quiet serenity', suggesting it's generally not overly crowded. No specific crowd times are noted, but weekday visits are likely quieter since trains aren't running.
🛡️Safety Features
- •No specific safety features are mentioned in the reviews.
⏰When to Avoid
- • Visiting on a weekday if the primary reason for your trip is to see the miniature trains actively running.
- • If your children prefer highly active or interactive play over observational exhibits, as this venue focuses on detailed static and semi-static displays.

6 years agoMiniature Trains! Too bad, the place is only "open" on Saturdays and Sundays. Despite the trains not being in operation, it's nice to see all the efforts that went into building the miniature replicas of the various sights from New Orleans. There are some really intricate buildings and really cute scenes setup around the main track. My favorite building was the ghastly looking St. Louis Cathedral.
