a month agoJust took my child here for her first day with coach Molly. This place is AMAZING. The staff are amazing! It is immaculately clean, the staff and the owner are so kind and welcoming, and the class was so much fun I had a hard time getting my child to leave. It’s rare where you find a place where you can tell that everybody involved is super passionate and happy to be there (and at 9am!). My family and I are SUPER excited to be long time members. It’s all good vibes and good fun at TRICKS gym.

4 months agoMy daughter attended tricks for about 9 months before she was finally advanced to the next class , their school age program. Her class specifically had inconsistent instructors . The instructors that were present weren’t welcoming especially to my high energy 6 year old. There was times when my daughter would sit to the side by herself and not instructor would check on her resulting in her losing out in 20 minutes of class time one day. When I went up to the front desk to speak to other staff in regards to the situation .I had a conversation with one of the owners. I expressed to her my feelings of how the staff needed more training to work with kids that are high energy . Also ,tailoring to their abilities , learning styles, and capabilities. She stated that they are not an ABA company and they do not specialize in working with kids with disabilities. I was taken back since disabilities wasn’t referenced on my end. Regardless , they should have staff that is empathetic for ALL KIDS . Due to the billing cycle, I already paid for three remaining classes for that month. I decided to skip out on those three classes because I was left with a bad taste in my mouth. Needless to say my family and I did not feel welcomed.

2 years agoI can’t say enough amazing things about Tricks! We have been going there for nearly a year and ever since the first encounter when I wanted to enroll, I’ve been given the most amazing customer service! They have a long waitlist, and it is clear why. They give impeccable care and service to their students and their families. Ever since we have started, my children are greeted at the door by name, and so am I. That is pretty rare for people to remember an entire family’s name, but they do! We started off with two of my three children attending classes but since my youngest turned 18 months, he has been able to attend the Toddler Class to and it’s his favorite day of the week! He absolutely loves his teacher Coach Catie and I love how the activities in the class are so well planned out, and the children stay busy and engaged, all while learning the entire time. My daughter is in the gymnastics class and she enjoys it so much! She has had a few different teachers but they have all been so wonderful and she has learned so much, and become much better coordinated with her movements. My older son is in TAG. He started out in Tiger Tag and absolutely loved it. He has recently been promoted to Warrior Tag and was nervous about the switch to a higher level. He was having a meltdown on the first day of his new class and it was really hard to convince him to go into class. The entire team at Tricks was very understanding and patient, and three different coaches took the time to try to calm him down and help him through his anxiety. I was in tears seeing him anxious like that and trying to reason with him wasn’t working, but Coach Rae, Coach Jeevan and Coach Evan were all extremely kind, loving and patient with him, and he was able to get through it. I could not be more grateful for the kindness we experienced that day. There’s so much more to say but I think I’ve made it clear. This place and it’s staff are amazing and we will definitely be coming here for years to come.

2 months agoMy daughter has been going to this gym for 3 years. She is on the spectrum before gymnastics we tried swimming, soccer, and even another gymnastic school it was not a good fit. When we arrive at tricks Her teacher coach Raey welcomed my daughter in a very warm and kind way. My daughter was incredibly distracted in the beginning but, coach Raey is always very patient with our daughter and professionally knows how to manage her class. Been watching Coach Raey for three years. How she works with kids I can confidently say she is one of the greatest if not the best coaches/teachers I’ve ever seen there. It’s the only place I feel confident and safe when Coach Raey is there to leave my daughter at so I can enjoy a little break when; they have the kids night out or the camps I know my daughter is in good hands. My daughter loves going to tricks! :)

3 months agoUnfortunately I had to give one star due to a recent traumatic experience this past Thursday on 1/23/25 during the 6:45pm-7:30pm class. It was with a coach that goes by the name “Ray” she is not my daughters coach and was not subbing for her session she was filling in for the littlest ones who usually are right next to my daughters class. Anyways, all was going well until the last couple minutes of class my daughter and another little girl were in the foam pit enjoying themselves mind you there was about 2 to 3 minutes left. Our coach Bella was about to stamp the girls like she always does in a playful manner she walks up the ramp where the foam beam is out of no where Ray rushes over screams at the top of her lungs so I guess everyone in the entire building can hear as if she already doesn’t speak loud enough to two little girls mind you they are 3,4,5 year olds and says very rudely get out of the foam pit get out yourself and respect your coach. From my understanding the kids always listen to Bella and follow instructions there’s never been an issue with that. Mind you before she screams at the kids she forcefully pulls Bella down from the ramp which was way out of line for putting her hands on her co worker. Before this I witnessed her aggressively pull a little girl by the arm and forcefully sit her down all because she wanted to give her water bottle to her dad I thought that was a little odd but proceeded to mind my business and focus on my own child. First of all my daughter was not in her class she was not focused on her little ones instead she was focused on Bella and what she was doing she walked away from her class to stick her nose some place it didn’t belong for no reason. My daughter loves coming here and usually the experience is great just not that time I don’t know what Rays problem is and or was but needs to be very careful speaking to peoples kids in such manner especially when it’s not even necessary. I hope this isn’t taken lightly and is addressed for future reference for the children’s and staff safety.
