a month agoBeautiful park, well maintained! Tried to find and capture owls, but didn't succeed, only captured a woodpecker :) It seems like the gate is always open, but an employee told me that the park is open only from sunrise. Anyways, worth to check out and have a nice walk! Enjoy some photos I took there recently :)

2 months agoLoved the trails with easy access from the train. Beautiful haven in the middle of town. The people working the nature center were kind and helpful. My daughter and I both loved the trails. Great place. Does get muddy/puddled, so make sure to wear the right shoes.

3 months agoThis place has lots of trees and lakes. The paved concrete paths make it easy to walk and enjoy the trees. The bathroom is nice and clean. But no dog allowed here.

a month agoMy mom loves this place! To the young woman with the colorful hair...please don't pick up salamanders with your bare hands. The oils on our skin is not good for their skin. Next time use a leaf or stick to take them off the trail. Ty.

a year agoAbsolutely love going for walks here. I have visited in every season over the past year and each one has something to offer. Look up at the towering trees, look down at tiny fungi, look out for wildlife. Always a fantastic adventure. There are restrooms, water fountains, maps, a couple picnic tables and an indoor information and learning center at the main entrance with a decent amount of parking. Other access points as well that I believe at least one is close to a public transport stop. There are benches along the way if you want or need a rest. The main walking path is paved with a few boardwalk bridges and some side paths that are not paved (some spots a bit muddy after rain). There is a pond that has lilies in the warmer months. Last summer the water level got pretty low but it was cool to see what's underneath the lily pads that are usually just seen floating atop the water. Anyway you should go, I'm sure you won't regret it!
