7 months agoTurning Point Park is a great park along the Genesee River in Rochester, New York. There are a variety of interesting sights along the way. The boardwalk is very well-maintained and good for walking, running, fishing, and dog-walking. It is a pretty popular trail in the area. The trails are relatively easy to navigate and family-friendly. I would recommend visiting Turning Point Park if you enjoy peaceful walks.

8 months agoBeautiful walk on the boardwalk. I little hill to get down and back up from parking lot but manageable. Flat boardwalk that offers beautiful views.

2 years agoWe went to this falls two times, one by foot walking along the boardwalk. Another time by riding the bike on the boardwalk all the way to the lighthouse. We saw people fishing on the shore. Both the view in the afternoon and the view in the evening are beautiful and very peaceful. Riding the bike makes it less tiring but could go all the way to the lighthouse. It is very easy to ride there as it is wide and pretty flat. I recoomend this place if you are going to Rochester, N.Y. We also saw a beaver swimming. The parking lot close the gate when sunset around 8-830 in Aug. make sure don't come back to the parking lot too late, the gate will lock and you will not get your car out.
