Expert Summary

Detailed Insights

Offers a variety of adventure park activities including trampolines, laser tag, mini golf, and a rock wall, which could provide active fun for children if the facility were properly maintained and staffed. However, current operations are heavily criticized.

Key Highlights

  • A decent amount of trampolines for jumping activities.
  • Features a range of activities including laser tag, mini golf, a rock wall area, basketball trampoline, and a virtual area.
  • Sells pizzas and snacks on-site (though availability is highly inconsistent).
  • Several bathrooms are available for use.

Standout Features

  • Variety of activity zones: includes a decent amount of trampolines, laser tag, mini golf, a rock wall area, a basketball trampoline, and a virtual area (though the VR is consistently non-functional).
  • Multiple bathrooms available on-site.
  • On-site food options for purchase (pizza, snacks), despite frequent stock issues.

Perfect For

Primarily suitable for school-aged children (a 6-year-old's birthday party was mentioned) and pre-teens due to activities like trampolines, laser tag, rock climbing, and mini-golf. However, older children may become bored quickly due to broken equipment and long waits.

Ideal For

Families seeking a wide variety of active play options who are not easily deterred by significant cleanliness issues, frequent equipment malfunctions, and poor customer service.
A very short, spontaneous visit if children are highly independent and can entertain themselves despite numerous operational shortcomings.

💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Adjust expectations for cleanliness; reviews consistently highlight dirty conditions, trash, and poorly maintained facilities.
  • Do not rely on specific attractions like VR or laser tag; they are frequently broken or have limited functional equipment, leading to boredom and long waits.
  • Be prepared for potentially unhelpful, unfriendly, and disengaged staff, especially if celebrating a special occasion.
  • If accessible parking is required, be aware that spots are often misused and not enforced by staff.
  • Consider bringing your own snacks and drinks, as the on-site snack bar is often out of stock, limited, and overpriced.
  • Avoid booking birthday parties here, particularly VIP packages, due to absent hosts, unfulfilled promises (e.g., balloons), and overall poor service for a high cost (over $600 reported).
  • Factor in the potential for quick boredom and disappointment, as kids might want to leave after only 2 hours due to broken equipment and lack of engagement.
  • Be aware that management is reported to be unresponsive to complaints, so issues raised may not be resolved.

Things to Consider

  • Pervasive lack of cleanliness: dirty mats, trash on floors, grime, dated and dirty bathrooms, filthy ball pit with torn lining and deflated balls.
  • Frequent equipment malfunctions: VR is consistently broken over several years, laser tag equipment is severely limited (only 4 players per game, causing 1+ hour waits), dodgeball area often has only 4 balls for many kids, and the ice machine is often broken.
  • Poor facility maintenance: flooring is bubbling up and identified as a trip hazard, attractions appear 'Jimmy rigged' back together, raising safety concerns for zip line and air obstacle course.
  • Unprofessional, unfriendly, and disengaged staff: described as grumpy, dismissive, walking away from orders, not completing orders, visibly frustrated, unacknowledging of birthday child/guests, and absent party hosts. Checkout experiences are also reported as unpleasant with eye-rolling and frustration.
  • Lack of basic amenities and stock: frequently out of popular snack bar items (pretzels, popcorn, chips, ice, dipping dots), advertised balloons missing from VIP party rooms, broken sanitizer dispensers in party rooms.
  • Overpriced for the poor quality and service: high entry fees ($30.99/child), party packages exceeding $600 for a disappointing experience, and overall value described as significantly less than the cost.
  • Accessibility issues: handicapped parking spots are frequently occupied by non-handicapped vehicles, with no staff enforcement or assistance.
  • Safety concerns: bubbling floor is a direct trip hazard, overall lack of cleanliness suggests neglect of safety checks, and broken sanitizer dispensers pose hygiene risks.
  • Unresponsive management: complaints made to management reportedly receive no response or follow-up.

Price & Value

High entry fees, reported at $30.99 per child and over $222 for 6 kids for 2 hours (implied socks included). VIP birthday parties cost over $600 (including tip). Consistently described as 'very overpriced' and 'more expensive than others in the area' given the rundown, dirty facilities, frequent broken equipment, limited snack bar stock, and poor staff service. The overall consensus is that the experience does not meet expectations for the price paid.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • Designated handicapped parking spots are available but were reported as 'ALL taken by people that didn’t have a handicap sign,' indicating a significant issue with enforcement and availability for those who need it.
  • No other specific accessibility accommodations were mentioned. However, facility maintenance issues like bubbling flooring could pose additional challenges for individuals with mobility impairments.

🍎Food & Drink Policy

  • An on-site snack bar sells pizzas, sodas, pretzels, popcorn, chips, and dipping dots. However, many items are frequently out of stock, limited, and overpriced. No explicit 'no outside food' policy is mentioned, but given the stock issues, bringing supplementary snacks might be advisable.

🚗Parking Info

  • Designated handicapped parking spots are present but were reported as 'ALL taken by people that didn’t have a handicap sign,' indicating a significant issue with enforcement and availability for those who need them. No details on general parking capacity or cost are provided.

👥Crowd Levels

  • While not explicitly detailed as 'crowded times,' issues such as the need for more adult seating on the lower level, and hour-long lines for laser tag due to broken equipment, suggest that the facility can feel crowded or poorly managed during peak times, leading to frustration and boredom.

🛡️Safety Features

  • Significant safety concerns reported: bubbling flooring is explicitly identified as a 'trip hazard.' The general lack of cleanliness, 'Jimmy rigged' repairs, and lack of 'pride in ownership' raise serious concerns about the safety and maintenance checks for attractions like the zip line and air obstacle course. Sanitizer dispensers in party rooms were reported as broken, posing hygiene risks. No positive safety measures were highlighted by reviewers.

When to Avoid

  • Birthday parties, especially if you expect friendly staff, dedicated hosts, functional amenities, or advertised inclusions (e.g., balloons) for a premium price.
  • Visits where cleanliness, functional equipment (especially VR, laser tag, dodgeball), or good customer service are high priorities.
  • Families with children who get bored easily by long lines or limited play options due to broken attractions.
  • Anyone relying on accessible parking, as designated spots are frequently unavailable due to misuse and lack of enforcement.
  • If you expect good value for your money, as the facility is described as overpriced for its rundown condition and poor service.

I came and spent $30.99 a piece on 7 kids to give my son a good birthday and here is how it went… I have a handicapped son and ALL The parking spots that were handicapped were taken by people that didn’t have a handicap sign. Everything was out such as the ice machine wasn’t working. The pretzels were gone. There was no more popcorn no more chips. They were out of ice. They were out of dipping dots. The Young staff have no idea how to handle situations and just walk away when waiting for sodas and they don’t even finish your order. Definitely do not waste your money.

The whole place is run down and dirty. The flooring is bubbling up and a trip hazard. The ball pit is filthy with torn lining coming through and half the balls are deflated. Very overpriced, especially for as rundown and dirty as it is. They need more seating for the adults, especially on the lower level between the rope climbing and soft play area. It would not take much to add a row of benches there. The snack bar is very limited and overpriced.

Pro: decent amount of trampolines, laser tag, mini golf, rock wall area, basketball trampoline, virtual area. They sell pizzas and snacks, several bathrooms 👍🏼 Con: THEY DONT CLEAN THE PLACE !! The mats are dirty! There’s trash on the floors, there’s things Jimmy rigged back together. There’s no pride in ownership! The bathrooms are dated and dirty! I would be terrified to turn on lights in the mini golf area 😳 What comes to mind is germs!! We go several times a month so I see the same dirt and grim. Which we make me worried about the safety of their zip line as well as the air obstacle course. If there’s not pride in cleanliness, there’s probably not going to be a consideration for saftey checks.

When we arrived, we noticed that the staff appeared unfriendly. My six-year-old son was so excited for his birthday party, but unfortunately, not one staff member greeted him with a smile, happy birthday, welcome. Nothing! Instead, the staff seemed grumpy and dismissive. Even when my six year said “it’s my birthday” with a big smile only 1 staff member gave him a grumpy “happy birhtday” like he was a inconvenience. We waited for our party host, who looked visibly frustrated, and when she was told her party had arrived, she didn’t acknowledge us. Instead, she voiced complaints to a co-worker about the condition of the room. Once we got to the party room, we had only five minutes to set up. Thankfully, we brought our own balloons since there were none in the room, despite them being advertised as part of the package. We purchased the VIP package . The host was largely absent throughout the party. With 17 guests, we needed more plates, which she quickly dropped on the table along with extra socks, as many of our guests weren’t offered any at check in. Additionally, the sanitizer dispenser in the party room wasn’t working, and the host was nowhere to be found to address the issue. This left parents scrambling through their bags for sanitizer. When it came time to check out, we were passed from one staff member to the next. Unfortunately, the experience with the staff member at the computer was particularly unpleasant. She appeared frustrated, rolled her eyes at the guests ahead of me, and gave no smiles, thanks, or friendly remarks. Instead, they were told to move out of the way so she could help me. The computers were down, which delayed the checkout process, but at that point, I was ready to leave and didn’t mind paying later. Thankfully, my child had a wonderful group of friends and family who surrounded him and made him feel special, so he had a memorable day despite the lack of friendliness from the staff. However, not all children are so lucky, and I believe Urban Air can do better by hiring staff who are welcoming, kind, and enthusiastic about their work. We paid over $600 for this party, including the tip, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. Based on this, we won’t be hosting another party at Urban Air in the future. We only tipped our host because we are kind people and didn’t want anymore unpleasant encounters that day. But it surely was not deserved. We complained to management and they never responded.

I brought 6 kids here today and bought 6 pairs of socks. The kids have only been playing for two hours and are bored and wanting to go home. The VR is still broken and they are not able to play. It’s been broken the last several times we have come here over the last several years. The laser tag only has equipment for four kids to play at a time when it appears there are meant to be at least 12 at a time. The lines waiting for this took over an hour because their equipment is broken. The dodge ball area only has four balls available for all the kids to play right now which defeats the purpose of a dozen or more kids standing in there wanting to play. My kids usually can spend 5-6 hours at a trampoline park and I’m really disappointed I spent over $222 and they are ready to leave because everything is broken and they are bored. I really feel since this park is more expensive than the others in the area it should have all equipment working properly or you need to put it on your website what is out of order. If I had known I never would have wasted our time here and all of my money. I wouldn’t waste my time here right now!
