Urban Ecology Center - Washington Park

I had the privilege of attending the grand reopening this morning and could not have been more impressed. The first non-residental, all electric building in the city? Amazing. I love the thoughtfulness of the design and thought they did a great job showcasing everything the new building has to offer as well as the surrounding natural oasis that is Washington Park.

I love this place- beauty in the middle of the city, and an amazingly friendly staff always there to help you. In the winter, we snow-shoed and today we canoed and fished

The Urban Ecology Center Washington Park tries to do an incredible job. The programs show great promise. But sadly SOME of the employees make it difficult. I get hung up on every time I have called to ask questions about the programs. Which has been several different times now. If the person: -Doesn't want to answer the phone - they pick up and immediately hang up. - When they do answer the phone - If they don't know an answer instead of connecting to someone who does - they HANG up. Didn't happen once or twice but ... EVERY. Single. Time. I give up! Completely unprofessional .. Not worth the hassle.

Washington Park is a great place for kids to get active and not get hurt it is also and it also has a soft brown for kids just in case they fall I softly hit the ground they will never get hurt only if they are not looking like he gets hit in to the pole this is a great place for kids to play they can also explore them because it's a great place for them to learn about nature ducks it's a great place for kids together don't ever take them to dangerous places that they don't need to go it's a great time at Washington and I wish you a very good day. Washington Park is a beautiful place. I've been coming here since I was a kid. It's a great place to jog, play, ride your bike in or just relax.
