7 months agoThis was the first time I’ve ever been to the State fair. I loved it! There are so many options from rides and shows to make it a great time, all while having some crazy food choices. Tickets aren’t too expensive but the food can be a little pricey. I enjoyed seeing the biggest pig ever, Brutus, and thought the livestock were cool too!

7 months agoAfter a not so great experience 2 years ago at the monster truck show, I am glad we gave the State Fair a second chance. We have done a couple of things at the fairgrounds, but the state fair was our favorite. We went on a Sunday morning, and it wasn't even that busy. We got to take our time going on a bunch of rides and visiting all of the farm animals. It seemed clean and safe compared to how it was during the night. We will be back again next because of how much fun we had with the kids.

7 months agoDirections: Easy to get to. Parking: Expensive. Traffic: They really needed traffic cops directing after a certain time of day. Admission: Reasonable Attendants: Nice & knowledgeable Layout: Not a grid, didn't feel like there was much logic to the layout Food: All the typical fair foods Drinks: Recommend the cool gimmick but refillable mugs for the price. They also serve beer. Rides: Didn't go on any Games: More expensive than Lagoon Livestock: Sooo cute! Nice diversity! Exhibits: Love, love, love everyone's skill and imagination!

6 months agoThis place has it all. I've seen rodeos, a turkey gang, edm shows, cultural food events, baton fights, cows, and pro skaters doing wild tricks but also saw motorcycle cops doing wild tricks training for the streets. I saw a crackhead steal someone's iced coffee and drink it in front of them. There is also the DMV and the fair and western cowboy stuff going on. If you hang out here, there is sure to be live action. One of my favorite spots. Only use the northeast gate as an exit, not an entrance, or the boobie trap of hidden spikes will take out your tires.
