a year agoI think people need a place to go to make their wishes and this is one of those places. I get the impression that on each visit you would spot or learn something new. The bathrooms were clean! Parking was free and easy! I wish there were postcards for sale, I think this would be a great place to send one from. Our tour guide Nicole aka princess Luna was wonderful and made the experience even better! This is a neat place worth a stop!

6 months agoI went to Valley of the Moon for their autumn show. The plays are entirely operated on a volunteer basis, and people of all ages and abilities are encouraged to audition and participate. I knew to expect an outdoor theater performance which was lead as a walking tour by some of the main characters. Alternate paths were offered in places where the terrain was more challenging and guides were helpful in keeping our group together. It was a fun time and I enjoyed watching how the story of the play interacted with all the natural and man-made features of Valley. I did purchase tickets in advance so I was guaranteed a time slot, because I know sometimes tours sell out. The cast and volunteers pointed out other activities and events hosted at Valley which is a great way to learn more about the this Tucson landmark, which has been up and running for 100 years now! Please consider going by for one of their shows, events, or for one of their historical tours. A sense of whimsy and magic always adds to the fun here!

3 months agoA magical and wonderfully unique space that invites you to explore, find fairies 🧚♂️ and adventures in various nooks and crannies. The 1st Saturday of the month they usually have a family friendly event, with different themes and by donation.

4 months agoWhat a fascinating place with fascinating history. We were fortunate to have a personal guided tour by a volunteer. We had the place to ourselves with time to explore the history and the man who built it.
