3 months agoFun place! I love valley fair. Perfect place to have some quality fun in Minnesota. When I have friends and family that come visit, first place we go is valley fair! This is a great small amusement park with everything you can ask for in an amusement park. It would be cool to see more food options though, and maybe some more theme events just to add a bit more kick to it. However, if you have a family or a hot date, and want to have some thrill fun this place will not disappoint! Have some fun y'all!

a month agoHad a great time last year. Even tho it is a smaller park its still got a good collection of rides with Renegade being my favorite. Also dont forget about Excalibur hidden in the back its a good ride that doesnt normally get a line due to how hidden it is.

6 months ago$400 to wait in lines…VALLEY SCARE BEWARE! 56 minutes to get into parking lot. 50 minutes to then get into the park. Then another 38 for the first haunted house. Some of the other lines were shorter but the last haunted house was 45 minutes again so we only got to do 4 attractions. Very disappointing. We had friends from Texas that came as well and they had to get out of the parking lot line to get gas and use restroom (which there is none until you get in the park) and they didn’t end up getting in the park until 10:38pm (leaving them only 82 minutes in the park till close) 😕 in which they also had 6 people in their family and got to do 3 attractions. OH, but there was a short line to spend $65 on corn dogs so that’s good. It felt like a ponzi scheme honestly! WAAAAAY oversold tickets and the infrastructure simple cannot handle nearly that many people! I only give it 2 stars because once you get in it’s really well set up and very cool atmosphere. Suggestions for park: -instead of having every car stop and pay for parking, include it in the prepaid ticket so people can drive right in! Seems like the obvious first change. -Better system to get into the park to avoid line skipping kids preventing those waiting in back from ever getting in. -Offer refunds! If I can’t get into the park for 2.5 hours someone shouldn’t have to pay full price because of the parks ignorance and lack of planning. - more staff dedicated to check in

6 months agoWe went to Valley Scare for the first time. I had a huge amount of fun, and I will diffently do Valley Scare again. For your information only, this is not a complaint: Because our group was over 21 and no children, we entered through and express lane to the park, no waiting. But driving to Shokopee lines of cars to get into the parking lot were very long ... we were in slow traffic while on the highway for more than 30 minutes, just to get to the parking lot. There were a few families, but mostly adults enjoying Halloween. The weather was perfect for an October night. There were at least six places to eat dinner, and many pop-ups to buy adult beverages. There were huge crowds everywhere, and long lines for the rides.

7 months agoWe had an amazing ValleyScare visit this past weekend! While it was CRAZY busy, there was enough to keep us moving, and the haunted maze lines weren’t too terribly long! The scare actors were absolutely fantastic and made us jump quite a few times. We also thought that the mazes/houses were more creative and immersive than we remembered them. My favorites were the Undertakers, the Boundary Waters, and the 7 Sins (although the 7 sins wasn’t really scary- just cool looking!) We are so happy ValleyScare is back!! Beware of the guests though! We experienced a lot of folks cutting in line, people scaring other guests, shoving or running into people, and just overall not cool behavior! I think this is typical for these types of events though, so it is to be expected and wasn’t that much of an issue. It would not dissuade us from coming again! People will be people, but ValleyScare does a fantastic job. There was also a lot of security and the crowd was controlled very well. We also really enjoyed the Hide and Seek show!! We caught the 11:30 showing right before park close and were super impressed. Hope to come back a second time this year!!
