Virginia Air & Space Science Center

Love this museum. They have several activities for kids from air plan simulators and educational exhibitions. I highly recommend IMAX and sign up for the membership. We would need more than once visit!

This was mine and my son’s first time experiencing this space center! We were absolutely blown away by how everything was set up and laid out. It was so cool walking around all the different air crafts and learning about how they were made and what they were like in service! My son couldn’t believe that some of them can go over 1000mph and the museum volunteers were so helpful and informing with any questions that we had. We could definitely stand in front of the space shuttle all day long it’s so awe inspiring and beautiful! It was definitely extremely heavy seeing the enola gay in person, knowing that something so awesome can do so much evil is almost incomprehensible

Such a great museum. The employees were just amazing. They answered questions and were so knowledgeable! We loved it and will definitely be going back.

An amazing museum of our aviation history! Our son really enjoyed this museum. Lots of hands-on exhibits with a stone from the moon and from Mars on display. There are play areas for the little ones which they can play when they get tired of the exhibits. Very nice gift shop. Highly recommended!

Went to the Virginia Air & Space Science Center for the first time. There is a lot to see and touch here. They have actual aircraft hanging from the ceiling. Some exciting stuff to touch and play with. They also have an IMAX theater on campus. Plan on spending at least three hours to really enjoy this awesome theater and science center.
