Virginia Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk

Visited Virginia Beach Oceanfront and had a great experience! There are plenty ocean-view room available. Highly recommend staying at a beach-view resort — and don’t miss the stunning sunset. Totally worth it

Great experience all around! The instructors were thorough and patient and horses were prepared for inexperienced riders. I enjoyed checking this off my bucket list and so did the kids.

A beautiful beach with a long strip sprinkled with lots of monuments and features to look at. Many monuments, artworks, and statues line the boardwalk as well as many shops. A lot of the shops are oriented towards tourism (tourism traps) and have a lot of nicknacks, and novelty items. Other than that the beach is beautiful, and the sand is soft and inviting. Would highly recommend for anyone who is in the area. Makes for a good day trip, but not a lot to do outside of the strip itself. Can walk the entirety of the strip in about an hour.

This is a beautiful boardwalk, it's clean and well maintained, there are lots of ambassadors around if you need help or want someone to take a group photo, plenty of small monuments and statues to look at, and I love that vendors aren't allowed here unless they have a permit because it facilitates more comfortable and uninterrupted exploration of the area. Even at after dark it seemed quiet, and very safe.

So many shops and restaurants. Everyone is going to be able to find something. Walk/ ride your bike on the boardwalk. The beach gets very crowded during the summer season, so get there early if you want a good place on the beach. This year the water was cold and not as clean as it usually is. Great place to hang with your family and/ or friends.
