Volunteer Park Playground

Awesome playground with a huge wading pool. Wish they filled the pool earlier during the summer months. I don't think they turn it on until 11:00am or so.

Great playground for kids of different ages. A lot of options for climbing.

A great playground with a generous wading pool. It’s in the shade for the most part so a good place to go on s sunny day. The playground has some features that are better for larger or more coordinated kids so watch your little ones while they play. There is a public bathroom nearby too. Across the street is a lively field and a little flower garden snuggled into a row under the trees.

Beautiful park but me and my family were watched and made uncomfortable while playing with our children. Maybe this park isn’t for black families.

My eponymous park is a great way. To spend the afternoon with younger kids. If older, there are trees around the corner to climb, flowers to smell and if during the day, a visit to the Asian Museum.
