4 months agoOne of my favorite places to walk my dog! It's so beautiful and I love seeing eagles by the river. To the bridge and back is about 1.5 miles and if you continue across the bridge, the main loop is about 3 miles. It's a heavily used trail, with many people walking dogs there, so I keep my dog leashed most of the time.

3 weeks agoIt's a nice little spot with streams, the little Spokane River, and a water fall. The trailhead starts at a cul-de-sac in a neighborhood and then leads to switch backs that take you down to an open area.

a week agoA very wonderful gem in the city. The hike is very cool, serene and peaceful. I wish I lived closer to it!

a year agoA little wilderness wonderland tucked alongside suburbia. I grew up hiking in this spot long before it was an official trail. The addition of trail markers and better switchbacks is fantastic. My dog adores it. Parking is always full, plan accordingly.

2 weeks agoIt was a nice walk with the dog. Not too steep, well maintained, spots to rest. We only went part way and back. It is popular, plenty of people around.
