5 months agoAbsolutely love to go to this place where walkers, families and dogs can all just get along! I rather sign there that said buddy ciance he had this parked dedicated because the dog park and it's a beautiful beautiful piece of property so nice to go for a walk It goes through the woods a little side areas to play with your dogs or kids if you so wanted to.. I don't know what kind of changes they're trying to make to it but I see dogs there all the time? 🤗💖 Somewhere safe they can run and play I don't know I've been there many many times over the last 3 years since I moved near this park and I've just never seen anything go wrong as far as in between the dogs... I think my big boy would lose his marbles if he didn't have a spot to go be free run around chase squirrels no she's never caught any lol You know just to run he's built for that and there's not many places I can take him to do this

3 months agoI love coming to Wanskuck Park to walk my dog. The vibes here are great, and it’s always relaxing to be surrounded by nature. What I really appreciate is the sense of community—most people here are fellow dog owners who genuinely care about giving their pups a fun and safe time outside the house. However, I don’t understand the 'No Dogs Allowed' signs. It feels unfair, almost like discrimination against dogs, especially when you hardly see kids playing here. Instead, you see responsible pet owners enjoying the space respectfully. I hope the rules can be updated to reflect how much this park already caters to dog lovers and their furry companions.

a year agoGreat open park. There are signs that say dogs are not allowed but there are typically dogs with their humans present, both are typically respectful.

5 years agoReally nice, spacious park. There’s huge open fields and a trail that goes through the woods. It’s sort of an underground dog park, so be prepared for dogs on and off leash. Owners are friendly and responsible, though, and the size of the park makes it easy to find your own space.

2 years agoGreat place to socialize for people and dogs. The only really discouraging factor is the people who go there with dogs that don't like other dogs. WHY GO, and try to spoil everyone else's day. Walk the Boulevard or just stay HOME! LOSERS BAT A HOME RUN WITH THIS PARK NOW! NO DOGS ALLOWED AT ALL IN THIS PARK. GREAT JOB TO THE MAYBE 10 PEOPLE WITH NO DOGS, NO PERSONALITY OR SOCIAL SKILLS. 1/3 of mile to be wasted so the miserable people can feel proud about just being Miserable! Today, I took my pup to the Waterman st. Dog park and to the Gano st. Dog park. Both are fenced in, Waterman has no grass and is full of rocks. TERRIBLE CONDITIONS! Gano st. Flat and full of grass. NICE! But.... Neither of the above have the space where a dog can get any real exercise. WANSKUCK PLEASE Advance to modern times and allow our dogs the rights they deserve! ADDED DEC 14 I no longer bring my dog there. Dog officer started showing up, threatening to take everyone's dog. GREAT JOB Providence!
