8 months agoThis is a fun playground for all ages. There is a bee sanctuary, a fishing pond and lots of climbing play structures. There’s a smooth but bunny trail for kids to bike on, dog friendly trails to walk and some smart squirrels that might steal a snack or two!

a year agoWow! I am so happy I came here for a relaxing afternoon. Washington Park is a phenomenal place for every person. There are gardens flowing with beautiful and stunning flowers for picnics. There are designated areas for grilling! In addition, there are playgrounds for kids and families. There are also nets set up for volleyball. I didn't even know there were two lakes here!

a year agoVisited from California. Strolled and rented a surrey bike to ride around this semi-shaded park which has 2 lakes, 2 fun playgrounds (1 across from the Boathouse/rental shop is for younger kids), flower gardens. This was perfect for a warm-ish day. Btw, single surrey and peddle boats were both $28/hr+tax. They have other rentals available too. Btw, the Farmers Market on South Peak Street on Sunday is a must if you like checking out local merchants especially for food and produce. More travel/food tips on IG: @grace.loves.adventures

4 years agoReally fun and unique park, perfect for people of all ages! There is a lot to do here- many slides, swings, sand pit, climbing structures, volleyball courts. Plenty of green space for picnics or disc golf and lots of places to sit. I love the more ‘natural’ look to this playground. The park was very clean but I wish there were bathrooms on site. About half the people when we went were wearing masks.
