8 months agoThis is a stunning fountain. I really enjoyed the design. There was even some children and a couple dogs enjoying it the Saturday evening I stopped by. This was my first time west of PNC Park to explore. Glad there was so much to take in on my walk to see the Steelers game. I was a little disappointed that these weren't lite up at nighttime.

8 months agoThis is an amazing in the middle of the city location to go for some simple fun with great scenery of the city all around. It's my alternative to going to the Riverview Park pool where I'm still in the city but having a great experience.

5 years agoThese water steps are great. A fun place to cool off or take the kids during a hot day. Very relaxing. The blocks have sharp edges so you have to be very careful wading with younger children. Slippery surfaces and sharp rocks aren't a great mix. But this is a high quality area. I'm only putting 4 stars because there is no public restroom within a couple blocks of here, so it makes it quite hard with children, which are the intended clientele.

2 years agoFirst time ever taking my son and he loved it. I also had a really good time it's perfect for toddlers and younger kids to have fun and cool off at the same time.... Definitely going back!

a year agoI love the water steps! They are a wonderful reprieve from the heat, and let me tell you, north shore gets toasty in summer. My doggie and I love to walk in this fountain to freshen up a bit. During the weekend it gets pretty busy with kids playing and splashing but if you go early enough or during the week it's usually empty. The view of the city is one of my favorites from here making this spot perfect for pictures! All around there are restaurants and breweries, the casino, the science museum, and the stadiums making the area quite entertaining. From North Shore you can walk downtown to the Point Park by crossing the bridge, it's a simple 10 minutes walk. Parking is usually pretty good (pay parking) but you can't park there during any event at the stadiums. The science Museum, the casino, and the stadiums have theirs own parkings.
