Waterfall - Marion Sansom Park

We hiked down from Samson Park to the falls. The trail could use some maintenance, but it was a fun steep hike. The vistas are pretty, and while steep, the hike was enjoyed by my wife and I. Regrettably, there are a few spots that people have left a good bit of litter. It could use a bit of TLC along the trails.

Wife likes waterfalls, and maps sez this is the closest. Not easy to find, even with GPS, but pretty disappointing. Lotsa grass, couple picnic tables, a parking spot for disabled, and a view of a waterfall a mile away...that's just a lake runoff about 3 ft high. After a 1/2 mile trek, too. Still, the grassy area was nice.

My favorite close-by get away from everyone spot. A short hike with beautiful views does wonders for a stressed mind.

Mad pretty. Nice hike trough the trails. And beautiful view. It’s a must stop by if your in the area. And the sunset will melt your heart away….

Beautiful place. Took my dogs out here early this morning. Saw three deer! Pretty fun hike. Be careful there are some steep parts and be sure to bring water!
