2 weeks agoWaterfront Park in Louisville, KY, is a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the scenic Ohio River. The view of the river alongside the iconic bridge structure is truly picturesque, especially on a sunny day. The park is open to everyone with no entry fee, making it a perfect place for a casual stroll or a peaceful break. During my visit, I noticed many people walking with their pets — mostly dogs — which adds to the friendly and laid-back vibe of the place. There are plenty of seating areas throughout the park, ideal for resting or simply enjoying the surroundings. Another plus is the availability of scooters outside the park, which you can use to explore the city further. Overall, it’s a great urban green space for walking, relaxing, and taking in the riverside views.

3 months agoGreat place to watch sunsets or go for an evening walk. Surprisingly was crowded Sunday evening after sunset on a winter night, but still enjoyed the views there and watching the sunset was quite pretty. Wished more cities had bridges for pedestrian use that were lit up at night like this one. The spiral ramp leading up to the bridge was quite nice too. My only complaint is that there is not a lot of parking near it, may have to park along the street or in one of the parking lots down the road from the ramp.

5 months agoGosh, it feels otherworldly, so many beautiful, different areas, the aesthetics and light are amazing. The pics I shared don't do justice to the many areas of this wide, huge park. Great for strollers and wheelchair scooters. One small thing....please maintain control of your children. Too many kids running and screaming on the bridge makes everyone else around irritated. Why? Also, why play music from your phone out loud? The swings at the bottom are beautiful on a fall day. The bridge is beautiful at sunrise and sunset. Come prepared for wind on the bridge. Plenty of trashcans but restrooms are at the bottom. Very popular place.

a month agoWaterfront Park has been a fixture for the last few years. We went back here after not going for a long time. Due to shootings, homeless, and other shenanigans. On the Saturday afternoon we went, there was a police presence. The nearby Lynn Family Stadium had an event and there was extra traffic. We did see a few homeless, but they weren't doing anything wrong or bad. The pungent malodorous arome of stinky pot gave us headaches so we had to move parks with our 5 year old. Bathrooms were closed.

2 months agoGreat experience. We can see all the four bridge from this vista point. Time I visited, you could see there was flood due to thunderstorm a week back. But it was nice place, one of the tourist spot.
