Very helpful staff. Great values. They have improved their pricing and will honor most online pricing if it is lower.

Terrible experience. Had online order shipped to this store. Got email saying it was ready. When I got there after 2 hours driving I was told it was not ready and still on the truck. Was told to come back tomorrow. Sales person who seemed to be in charge got up out of chair said it was an online issue and customers need to call. Where was that in the email? She offered no alternative and basically could have cared less. I cancelled the order and will never order or visit a West Marine again. Too bad I can't get my $25 back for the gold membership. Keep your money and buy from someplace else.

My husband and I purchased a boat handle online. Turned out it wouldn't work on our boat. So I just wanted to return it and get a refund. Nothing wrong with it. So I called an was told "we don't send a free return labels that I have to bring it to one of there stores". I said we live over 100 miles from the nearest store. So I can't return it. It did NOT say if you buy online you can't get a refund if you don't want it or it doesn't fit. Will not shop there ever.

I needed a part for my boat, I got there 15 mins before they were closing. A friend that has used this place in the past suggested not wasting my time because I would get there so close to closing time. He was right, they likely had the part in stock cause it is a super common part but the parts guy looked at it and without any thought said "we don't have that". With out even checking. He didn't even make and attempt to look up and order the part for me. They must do so much business that they don't need mine was the vibe I got. Would not recommend!!!

Say what you will about pricing but the staff is knowledgeable, they stock everything i need and ,unlike online stores, I can pick it up today!
