We enjoyed our walk around this spot. We had a perfect spring day to move about the various trails. We even saw a snake out enjoying the sun. The paths were well-maintained and very easy to traverse. For it to be in the city, it was a nice spot to get back to nature.

Lovely Hidden Gem for a Quick, Easy Walk! West Neck Creek Walking Trail is a great little tucked-away spot in Virginia Beach! I took my son, and he absolutely loved it. The trail is paved, making it super accessible for strollers, scooters, or just an easy walk. It’s a nice, quick route with plenty of nature to enjoy, and since it’s not overly crowded, it feels peaceful and relaxing. Perfect for a short outing with kids or just to get some fresh air. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a great little spot to get about an hour in of walking through nature. There is a decent mix of of paved and unpaved trails, cute little bridges over creeks, and ability to hear wildlife. The trails aren't really marked super great once you get into the unpaved section, but if you just keep romping around you'll get back as its a small enough area to not really get lost in. We love going here with the kids and doing quick walks when we are out and about and want a few moments of nature.

What a gorgeous trail! It’s short and makes for an easy nature walk, or you can go longer with several laps. Plenty of shade, quiet, easy to immerse yourself in and listen to the nature around you.
