Bring back the mini merry go round! Love the variety of demographics enjoying the park in harmony!😇. They need more garbage cans! Love the warm water in the bathroom! Wish there was a water fountain working outside! The Public Library is located there too and I was mortified to see that they are ripping up history books and books in different languages!! These pics are going to be shared around the world to protest the insanity that is going on within the walls of the SF Public Library!! You can’t change history!! No excuse for ripping up books!! No book banning! Mortified!!🤬.

I remember when this park was just wood and I would get splinters for going down the slide. There used to be a huge sandbox where the see-saw & kids swing are now. There used to be bushes all around the park, going all the way to the library & everyone would get super lost playing hide & seek in the bushes. There used to be a huge stair case where the West Sunset Parking Lot is, next to the mural, for the days I was too lazy to walk up the hill. Times have changed, the park is rebuilt all modern & it got rid of the sand & the bushes & the two big slides… They added a lot of fun things like the see saw, the jungle gyms, the spinning rides etc. So I take my daughter to this park once in a while cause it’s super close by & convenient. Good public meet up spot to do activities with friends.
