The staff and seats were great! I went with my son to watch Flora & Ulysses. The actors and actresses are very talented! The set was also really amazing. However, the script was a bit underwhelming, and didn’t sit right with me. Flora’s mom was portrayed ignorant and heartless, choosing to show more affection to her decorative lamp over her daughter. The main character Flora conversed with her parents and others (the waitress, her neighbors) with angst and attitude in her tone and body language. In addition, Flora repeatedly did things behind her parent’s backs, like keep the squirrel in her house without first discussing with her parents, reading comics even though she promised she wouldn’t etc. She also was critical and disrespectful of her mother’s profession/passions. When her mother took her squirrel out, her solution was to take her mother’s lamp as a threat to her mom instead of a respectful confrontation. It seemed like the play prioritized her friendship with the squirrel over trying to work on family ties. This was supposed to be a performance for children, but there were so many elements that felt opposing to the values and morals that we should model for our children. This was my personal experience, at least. Hopefully there will be other plays that we will enjoy here in the future.

Rating the theater classes for little kids (preschool, kindergarten). My child loves those classes (6 weeks long). You can only view a part of the final class, as they are still too young to make a show. They showed us some techniques they teach the kids and I think it really helps develop their imagination amd gets them used to performing in front of an audience and creating their own props. The teachers were always great with the little ones.

Great venue. Don't choose seats in the first two rows unless you want "feet eye view" of the performance. You are seated below the stage, right up to the lip. About the fourth row back would be ideal.

My daughter is always so excited to go to the Saturday sessions but sad that it is over. Everyone is so friendly and dedicated to the kids!

We took our students there on Friday a.m. for the 10:30 show. We seen the SpongeBob 🧽 👔 🍍 SquarePants Musical. They interacted with the audience. Coming down into the aisles multiple times. There was a 15-20 min intermission @ 11:30. Show ended at 1. Our students thoroughly enjoyed. Singing & dancing in their seats. The 🎬 actors & actresses did an amazing 👏 job!
