a week agoWhy do we spend so much money building restrooms in parks only to keep them locked? Kids need toilets and places to wash their hands! The playground equipment is great, but there needs to be a shade structure.

6 months agoLovely park. My kids always have a wonderful time here. There are enough swings that there's never a wait. The playground is always extremely clean!

a year agoMy first time at this park. My little one enjoyed it. We made the best out of it but it was very hot. Because of how hot it was, my little one barely played on the slides. She wore pants and even then it was still hot. The only parts that weren't hot was the big swing as well as parts in the shade. They do have restrooms, but when I went in I understood it's a public bathroom, I just think my assumption was that it wouldn't have smelled the way it did. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that whoever used it last never flushed the toilet and because of that it made the bathroom stank badly. My daughter told me she needed to use the restroom but when we went in, she changed her mind They have a good amount of selections. I really like how they have parts set to where the children can have their own little cubby space, I forgot to take more photos. My daughter tried out the parts of the park that had the rope and she did good even though she was scared. I would be careful because there is poison ivy in certain places so if your kiddos aren't paying attention they will run into it but from what I seen it was further near the entrance than near the play area. There was also a space for people to have celebrations, when we arrived there was a birthday going on and it seemed like there was enough space for their needs. The park has its own basketball court as well as so much space to play other sports and games. Because I'm on the bus line it's definitely helpful to know that even if I didn't use my maps, they have a CVS I used as a landmark. They have bus stops on both sides of the street and the walking distance surprisingly isn't that far. It's a little right behind the CVS. I took the 67 and when we left, I got on the 67 going towards town and the trip to and from was easy. The distance I assumed would be far but it literally was easy and fast to get to. My daughter enjoyed herself, even while she didn't want to play on any parts that were too hot. so we definitely will be adding this park to our go to list. We would just have to go when it's not super hot.

10 months agoThis amazing playground is built in a park that includes a stormwater management system and native plants for pollinators. I love the art installations and how popular this park is with local residents. Fabulous land use project!
