2 weeks agoTook the family for a quick Saturday adventure. (Arrived at 1pm and stayed until closing, 4pm.) Kids loved it over all. I was impressed with the layout of exhibits and overall how they fit so much in their allotted space. Unfortunately, a few areas were closed due to construction or improvements. We didn't eat any food or drinks, but seemed like they had options for everyone. Gorilla exhibit I enjoyed the most! To see the troop up close was amazing! My daughter enjoyed the bird exhibits. (There was several included two, that we walked through, where you are inside of the exhibit.) The bug exhibit was fun for the boys. Unfortunately the petting animal part was closed when we came, looking forward to seeing that in the future. I recommend visiting the zoo and supporting wildlife/animal conservation and education.

a week agoWas a fun zoo to take the Littles out and let them explore each animal. Would recommend parking in the west entrance if you plan to rent a stroller, if not than any parking lot would do. I would recommend carving out a few hours to just relax and walk thoroughly through each exhibit. Loved looking at the giraffe, zebras and the lions! Definitely recommend getting tickets in advance just to avoid the lines on the entry.

3 weeks agoMy family had a great time. Even though it was raining for the second half of the visit, the animals were all snuggled up taking naps which was super cute to see. I liked that the zoo had umbrellas, strollers, and wagons available to rent. There were lots of places to sit and nice wide paths to walk. When it was rainy there were quite a lot of puddles so I would recommend wearing boots or other sturdy shoes for water and mud. Good variety of animals and wasn’t too crowded or busy on a Monday morning.

2 weeks agoEnjoyed my day at the zoo. Highlight was definitely the snow leopard. Also watching the sloth bear cub play was nice. Great variety of birds. The zoo had maximized space really well. Son and I were a bit disappointed that the hippo had been relocated to another zoo.

a month agoAs a homeschool family, we are always trying to find new educational places to visit. This zoo is an awesome place for this! We signed up for a year membership and we can't wait to continue visiting. I love that some of the animals are in the same area (replicating how they are in the wild.) And I also love that the animals have the choice to hide out, I know it's not fun when you can't see them but I think it's so important they have that ability! Everyone was super friendly, ESPECIALLY the woman who worked at the membership office (we came on 3/18 around 1 pm.) She was happy, friendly and explained it all! That is rare these days and so coming across such a nice woman was awesome! The zoo is clean and the animals seem happy. The carousel was super fun for the kids and I love that I was able to ride with my toddler without paying extra. Definitely worth the money!
