World of Discovery Summer Day Camp

I have been sending my daughter to this wonderful camp for four years, and my son for two years (ages 8 and 5). We continue to have an exceptional experience. Their communication is fast, thorough, extremely kind and transparent. The counselors are professional, warm and energetic—the perfect combination for caring for your child(ren). If your child rides the bus, you can feel assured that their bus counselors will exceed your expectations. Swim days are fantastic and fun, and include instruction. School lunch, drawstring backpacks, t-shirts and water bottles are included. The field trips (twice per week) are so varied that they leave every adventure box on your list checked (great for us working parents who’d prefer to relax on the weekends). On camp grounds days (non-field trip), the kids also enjoy arts & crafts, music, dance and sports…to name a few things. I highly recommend this camp!

My daughter had a great time at World Of Discovery Camp! This was her first year at this camp and she loved it! All days were full of activities and pool days! So happy that she tried new things and made new friends! This camp is very organized and it was fantastic that she got picked up and dropped off. I got the recommendation on Facebook and I am so glad someone suggested it!

This camp is fantastic! The communication and organization are impressive, especially with the kids being bused to multiple locations daily and weekly trips planned. Managing all of that so smoothly must be a logistical challenge, but they make it look effortless. My daughter absolutely loved it and called it her favorite camp ever! There’s always so much to do that I never worry about her being bored. Signing her up again this year was an easy decision. Highly recommend!

Last year was my son’s first summer with World of Discover. We were extremely displeased with his previous camp experience at another neighborhood camp, and excited to register him with all the positive reviews from friends! Suffice to say, my son was all-smiles and couldn’t stop raving about his first day with World of Discovery! From the field trips, to the new friends, and warm, friendly counselors we are elated to have made the switch! Thank you for making each summer day an amazing journey for him!

This was my son’s first camp and he loved it. The Counsellors at WOD were amazing with him, everyday he came with amazing stories of how much fun he had. It is perfect for energetic kids who need to burn all that energy. We will definitely sign him up for next year.
