We enjoyed our visit so much. The sanctuary was so spaced out and organized. All the animals seemed very well cared for and happy. My daughter loved feeding the animals and learning more about them. The employees were very friendly and helpful. It is a great place to bring the family. There are plenty of benches and sinks for hand washing along the way. We loved meeting Hank, the turkey.

This place is such a nice place to take your family or friends. It’s hot so be prepared! There are sinks at almost every corner. The petting animals are sweet and plump. Staff here are kind and knowledgeable. Gift shop prices are reasonable and not expensive. I got a big bison plush for only $15 and I know it could’ve been $50 easily someplace else!

We visited during a weekday. We visited at 10:00 a.m. and that's when the sanctuary opens. I gave the sanctuary a four-star simply because the children enjoyed themselves so much. I really feel like I could have given it less because they're really wasn't a whole lot of interaction with the animals. It was very enjoyable for the children..... they are so innocent that any interaction with animals is just thrilling for them. We did find it fun to walk the pathways and we took pictures. They have peacocks that love to show their feathers! And that was fun. I do have to add a disclaimer..... if you used to go to the Yellow River Game Ranch back in the day before covid, this is not the same game ranch... there are no deer roaming freely around. There are no Chipmunks or squirrels waiting for you to feed them so that they could take a nut out of your hand. They have bunny rabbits. But all I saw was for and they didn't seem too healthy....... if you come with a group you can't go into the bunny area and see the bunnies up front...... I don't think it would be worth it anyway since they only had about maybe four that I could see and they weren't hopping around. The staff had one fluffy beautiful bunny in her arm and the children got to touch that with two fingers. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

$22/adult and $15/3-12 years old. Annual Pass equate to about 2.5 visits. Took us about an hour to walk through the Sanctuary. Don't have any food for sale inside on the day of our visit. But, I did see a food truck. No formal toilet inside, only portable ones. The only formal toilet is at the ticketing booth at the entrance. The most interesting part is the food cup for animals at $6.5? each. The animals that can be fed are printed on the cup. Generally, deers, goats, cows, bisons. Animals that could not be fed are posted at the cages. There is a bunny petting area that needed line up and wait. We did not wait. There are many other animal encounters that cost more money and we did not buy either.

Wheelchair yes!! Mostly anyway. Took my mom who has mobility challenges, using a lightweight push chair. Most of the trail is paved, with some areas packed sand, where we did fine, and then some side trails to enclosures which we couldn't navigate. No way was she getting down the rocky hill to the bunny house. But there was plenty to see, including staff members doing feeding and training and explaining it in a friendly and fascinating way. Feeding by the barn was fun and accessible. The paths are a bit hilly so I got a workout as the chair pusher but it was lots of fun and definitely worth it!
