  • Parents express peace of mind knowing their children are with a caring team.
  • Programs effectively keep children engaged and away from technology/screens.

Standout Features

💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • If your child thrives on strong relationships with caregivers, be aware that staffing changes, while sometimes unavoidable, can occur (as highlighted by a recent supervisor departure).
  • Parents seeking a Pre-K program with a balance of academics and social skill development will find value here, with specific examples like learning anatomy.
  • If convenience and flexible hours for your work schedule are a priority, inquire about their specific program locations and timings.
  • For parents wanting to limit screen time, the YMCA's programs are noted for keeping kids engaged offline.

Things to Consider

  • One family experienced the recent loss of a highly valued, long-term site supervisor (Ms. Cheri), which was difficult for their child who had bonded with her since kindergarten. This indicates potential for staff turnover impact.

I absolutely love this program so much. My son has had so much fun meeting new friends and having new experiences. He loves camp and before and after care and he loves the staff. The staff are so friendly and they always make comments about how much they just love having my son in their program. It is close to home and the hours are perfect for my work schedule. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!

YMCA day camp was absolutely amazing! My daughter enjoyed every single day there. The staff is exceptional specially Miss Janice, Treva and Marissa and the rest of the younger staff. They make you feel so welcomed. They keep you posted with information you need about incoming events and field trips etc. I’m so thankful for YMCA. Thank you for all you do for our kids. We love you YMCA.

We had the best year at YMCA pre-K. My daughter learned so much. The academics were impressive (she knows the bones in the body!) but she also reinforced the social skills she'll need for kindergarten. The program is well balanced between free play and structure, and the teachers are fantastic. I had peace of mind every day knowing my daughter was with a team that cared about her.

Not only is it super convenient for the care to be at the school but my daughter has so much fun! Multiple times I’ve come to pick her up and she asks to stay longer! As well it keeps her off tech! We recently lost our site supervisor (Ms Cheri) which is hard for my daughter as she has watched her since kindergarten (she’s now in 3rd grade) and she always had so many fun and exciting things planned. We miss her
