3 weeks agoI visited the Youth Science Institute at Alum Rock Park from the outside during a recent walk. The location is peaceful, well-integrated with nature, and appears very well maintained. Although I didn't enter the center, the surroundings gave a very positive impression. It looks like a great place for kids and families to learn and explore. Also, I noticed that clean restroom facilities are available nearby, which is a big plus for park visitors. Definitely worth coming back for a full visit!

a year agoExcellent collection of animal specimens and live animals. Since we went when they opened, we watched the animals being fed. And were honored to see a tortoise feeding/walking, after 8 months of hibernation. Apparently, the tortoise hibernates 8 months in a year. Saw Gecko, snakes, toad, chinchilla, newt, owl, etc.
