ZooTampa at Lowry Park

What an amazing zoo!! Tons of activities for kids, tons of animals, so many places to grab food or drink! They’ve got smoked bbq, Asian, hot dogs, snacks, you name it. Nice gift shop. All kinds of different regions of animals. Africa, Australia, Asia, India, Florida, lots of birds, we had a great time here! Took us around 3-4 hours to see everything. Very cool!!

I had a wonderful time at ZooTampa!!! One of the highlights was seeing the giraffes, especially the adorable moment with a baby giraffe resting next to its mom. it was so peaceful and heartwarming. The animals seemed healthy and relaxed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and there were plenty of shaded spots and areas to cool off. Great place for families or anyone who loves animals. Highly recommend spending a few hours here!

What an incredible zoo! We were blown away by the customer service from the time we had breakfast, to the time of our departure. Everyone we encountered was simply amazing and beyond helpful! We're eager to come back and partake in some of the optional things and experiences offered.

I had an amazing time at ZooTampa, and it truly stands out as one of the best zoo experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how well-maintained and expansive the zoo is. There’s something for everyone, from thrilling rides to water park-like areas that help you stay cool while exploring the exhibits. The animals were incredible, and I loved how the zoo’s signage and layout made it easy to learn about each species while offering ample space for the animals to roam. It’s clear that the zoo prioritizes animal welfare while also making it easy for visitors to enjoy. A unique bonus was getting to watch the National Geographic show on Disney+, which features the zoo. It made the in-person experience even more special, knowing that I was seeing the same amazing animals featured on the show. ZooTampa is perfect for kids and families. You can bring water and small snacks (the food and drink selection is fun) The combination of interactive exhibits, fun rides, and educational opportunities makes it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

AWESOME visit to the Zoo Tampa. Ablutions are kept clean at all times during the day. Many animals from around the world to see. U can also embark on a 🆓 safari drive to get closer to the African animals- takes 25 - 30 minutes in total. Friendly & interactive guide & driver sharing knowledge. There are plenty of seats throughout the zoo & if it’s hot, try the many misters to cool off. Zoo has a good display of dinosaurs as well & routes are wheelchair friendly
